And we are heading into a tie?

Goofs
Donovan McNabb
Andy Reid
Jeffrey Lurie
Pros
None that I can see.
Goofs: McNabb has been the quarterback of this team since I was in high school and I think its time to realize that he is not a championship quarterback. McNabb only can get us to the playoffs and that’s it. He is a professional choke artist and simply enough doesn’t know how to keep down his own lunch when in stressful situation. McNabb throws us due to stress; I throw up every time I see him play. Andy Reid has the same problem to stuck in on speed and gear that we can’t make it any further. It is sad that we continue to see the fat ass with his menu on the sidelines not keeping an eye on the clock but rather eye on the food stands. Get rid of them both and you will get a championship. As for management the failure is all Mr. Lurie the chairman of the Eagles Organization. He has a lot of power and control in what happens to these people and does nothing. Time to leave your precious sky box and join the fans of this city or be forcible removed.
Sadly this season seems to be slipping farther and farther away with playoff spot in sight. On the Eagles website a poll that 8,000 people already voted on overwhelmingly say this team needs to be shaken up. So let’s go Flyers and put this crazy season of Eagles behind us. By the way really fan on Philly isn’t wearing green, they are still wearing RED.

And the Gold keeps on coming plus Silver.

This award is determined solely on defensive play throughout the year. Fielding percentages assist, and innings are all taken into account. This years OF recipient is our very own Shane Victorino, and this years shortstops recipient is now a two time recipient Jimmy Rollins. Throughout the season it was these two men that played good consistency baseball which lead this team in getting a championship.
Jimmy Rollins had a fielding percentage of .988, 393 assists, 71 double plays, 7 errors and 193 put outs.
Shane Victorino had a fielding percentage of .994, 7 assists, 2 double plays, 2 errors and 328 put outs.
This award is determined by the slugging percentage, homeruns, and extra base hits someone gets throughout the entire year. Also runs batted in, and runs scored are also involved in eh decision. This years Sliver Slugger Second Baseman Award goes to our very own Chase Utley. Chase Utley had a great year at the plate and dominated all types of pitching with his offensive power and brunt strength.
Chase Utley had a slugging percentage of .583, 177 hits, 113 runs, 104 RBIs, .380 base percentage, 78 extra base hits, and 33 homeruns.

It gets not better then Philly!

The Flyers won their last game of the month of October and salvaging the month with a better win/loss record. The hero from that game was that of Jeff Carter who seems to be on fire lately. Flyers are in a better place now then they were at the start of this season. On Sunday the Flyers will take on the Oilers in their first game of the month of November. This is a team that is exactly tied with the same amount of points as both teams look for an edge. Hopefully the Flyers take some luck from the Phillies and come up big against the Oilers.

PHINALLY!

Every Phillies fan from the past and present can finally say we are the champions. I remember game 1 in my dorm room with my rally rag from the year before and how we cheered them on throughout everything, only to be rewarded with the greatest prize in baseball. Tonight is a night where I saw grown men cry and Philadelphia take to the streets. Tonight is a night where I saw all those Phillies fans that came before us take their final bow and say “it is your time.” From the call from Harry Kalas to the fireworks the city of champions has returned.
Pros
World Series Champions the Philadelphia Phillies
American League Champions Tampa Bay Rays
Goofs
Priceless
Pros: For the Rays this is a season where they can build a dynasty off of, and look toward the future. This is a team none for its tough attitude and its fighting spirit, and that kind of play will one day win them the greatest championship in baseball but not tonight. The Rays brought everything they had to the table but unfornatntley wasn’t enough. Philadelphia Phillies are the World Champions and that my friend explains it all. Either it was the Jamie Moyer show dominating this season on the mound, or the big come back in NY when the Phillies stumped the Mets, or when it was Shane Victorino hitting a grand slam off of CC Sabathia I don’t know exactly what it was but here they are champions of baseball.
Goofs: Good baseball does not have any goofs!
The Phillies this season took us away from the real world. Putting all are worries to the side and cheering for a victory that many feel it was personal. No matter what you’re economic problems are, or the job you have that you may hate, tonight all are negativity all our problems didn’t matter for two hours. Tonight there was more things that united us, rather then divided us. A city that finally has come home and a championship that will forever be bidding memory. My friends I have seen many games, and I have always wanted to be part of the good old days my father talks about, finally I am. Thank You Phillies!
